A delegation of the University of Tetova, headed by the Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Kastriot Haxhirexha, visited the University of Medicine in Tirana. During their stay at this university they were welcomed by the Rector of this university, Prof. Dr. Arben Gjata, accompanied by vice-rectors as well as the dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Xheladin Draçini and the dean of the Faculty of Dental Medicine, Asst. Prof. Edit Xhajanka. Representatives from the University of Prishtina were also present at this meeting, including Prof. Dr. Suzana Manxhuka-Këlliu, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine in UP.
Building bridges of cooperation between Albanian universities, with special emphasis on the faculties of the medical sciences, was the subject of this meeting as well as the systematic exchange of experiences between the institutions of higher education. Also special importance was given to the Conference of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, which will be held at the University of Tetova.
After this meeting, the delegation of the University of Tetova, headed by the dean, Prof. Dr. Kastriot Haxhirexha, held a friendly meeting with representatives of the University of Elbasan and its Rector, Prof. Dr. Skender Topi.
In this meeting, among other things, was discussed about the organization of the 4th International Conference, which will be held on May 15-17, 2019 at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tetova, this conference organized in partnership with the University of Medical Sciences of Tirana, and the Faculty of Medicine, the University of Elbasan from the Republic of Albania, Aldo Moro University of Bari, and the University of L’Aquila from the Republic of Italy, the University of Prishtina from the Republic of Kosovo, and the Faculty of Medicine, the University of Sarajevo from the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
