On the eve of March 7, Teacher’s Day, the University of Tetova, by the decision of the Rector’s Office, made a donation –equipment to the Primary School “Vasil Glavinov” in the village of Buzalkovo in the Municipality of Veles.
The donation was made today by the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti, accompanied by his associates and heads of other academic units of our University.
During the meeting with the school administration, he said that the University of Tetova, by decision of the Rector’s Office, on March 4, 2020, decided to submit a donation – supplies for permanent use to “Vasil Glavinov” Elementary School, such as desks, chairs, lockers, tables, computers, projectors, printers, overhead projector and LED TVs.
In addition, he donated to the administrators of this school the logo of the University of Tetova, together with the portrait of the founder and first Historical Rector of UT, Prof. Dr. Fadil Sulejmani, as well as a postage stamp painting designed with the logo of the University of Tetova.
The principal of “Vasil Glavinov” Elementary School, Sashko Cokov thanked the Rector of the University of Tetova for this donation, which, according to him, will help in the educational process of the students, as we all work together for their good.
While the administrator of “Vasil Glavinov” Elementary School in the village of Buzalkovo, Maksut Bakiovski in his speech, in addition of the presentation of the activities that take place in this school, thanked the leaders of the University of Tetova for the support they give to the Albanians in the Veles region. He also said that part of the school’s staff is graduated from the University of Tetova.
This school has a total of 397 students enrolled in 17 classes. Students from the villages of Slivnik and Kllukovec attend classes from VI-IX. 26 teachers are involved in the realization of the educational process, all with relevant education.
