At the square of the University of Tetova, two particularly important events were organized: “Open Day” and the “Career Fair”, activities aimed at bringing the institution closer to high school graduates, students, and the labor market.
As part of the “Open Day,” all academic units of the University of Tetova presented their educational and scientific offerings for the 2026/2027 academic year to interested high school graduates, informing them about study programs, study conditions, and the opportunities the university provides for their academic and professional development.
Rector, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, spoke about the opportunities and infrastructure of the University of Tetova. He stated that the University of Tetova now possesses exceptionally well-developed infrastructure, a dedicated academic and administrative staff, as well as a well-established tradition in organizing scientific conferences, book promotions, academic publications, and implementing international agreements with institutions within the country, the region, Europe, and the USA. “All these achievements have placed the University of Tetova at an advanced level, making a special contribution to the education and preparation of younger generations. This is also evidenced today by the large participation of high school graduates who have come to learn about our academic offerings. We invite all high school graduates to orient themselves toward one of the approximately 100 study programs we offer in the first cycle alone. They can be confident that at the University of Tetova they will receive the best knowledge and be professionally prepared to successfully practice their profession”, said the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli.
At the same time, the “Career Fair” was also organized, where various companies presented their activities, offering information on employment and professional development opportunities for students. This fair serves as a bridge between students and the labor market, creating concrete opportunities for cooperation and new career prospects.
President of the Chamber of Commerce of North-West Macedonia, Mr. Nuhi Aliu, emphasized that the Chamber strongly supports students and will continue to do so at all times. He stated that students have open doors at the Chamber of Commerce, where they can come for cooperation and practical experience, as they acquire theoretical knowledge at the faculty, while they develop practical skills in private enterprises that are part of the Chamber’s membership. President Aliu underlined that the Chamber includes a large number of Albanian private companies that have their doors open to students, while also encouraging other businesses to offer opportunities for them. He added that students are the future of society and businesses; therefore, supporting them is a necessary investment for overall development.
These activities demonstrate the commitment of the University of Tetova to be not only a center of knowledge and scientific research, but also a reliable partner in building the professional future of its students.
