Professor of the University of Oxford has visited the University of Tetova

On March 28, 2023, Professor of the University of Oxford distinguished historian James Pettifer visited the University of Tetova in the framework of cooperation with the Center for Peace and Transcultural Communication.
In this meeting he was welcomed by the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Kushtrim Ahmeti, President of the Senate, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti and the director of the Center for Peace and Transcultural Communication, Mr. Sc. Donika Kamberi. In this meeting, the leaders of UT expressed their gratitude to Professor Pettifer for his continuous contribution to the Albanian issue.
The Historian’s visit has a special importance, considering his contribution to our cause. It will always remain the address where we will find the facts, the narratives and stories of our people,in which he commits himself to the Albanians with inexhaustible passion.
As a sign of gratitude, the University of Tetova gave him the university magazines, the University monograph and the symbolic plaque with the figure of the historical Rector Prof. Dr. Fadil Sulejmani.
As one of the benefactors of this University, James Pettifer congratulates the University of Tetova on their achievements. Besides the positive discussion, this visit was concluded with some photographs at the statue of the first Rector of UT, Prof. Dr. Fadil Sulejmani.
