Leaders of the Faculty of Food Technology and Nutrition participated in the First International Scientific Conference, organized by the Faculty of Technology and Technical Science in Veles, a unit of the “St. Clement Ohridski” University – Bitola.
At this important scientific event, the Faculty of Food Technology and Nutrition of UT was represented by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Gafur Xhabiri; the Vice Dean for Education, Prof. Dr. Xhezair Idrizi; the Head of the Study Program, Prof. Dr. Namik Durmishi; the Head of the Laboratory, Prof. Dr. Ismail Ferati; as well as assistants, MSc. Hava Miftari, MSc. Valbona Mazllami, and MSc. Durim Alija.
The conference was held on October 3, 2025, in the city of Veles and brought together over 100 scientists and experts from 11 different countries, who presented their work in the fields of food science, nutrition, innovative technologies, and sustainability.
The event aimed to exchange knowledge and professional experiences with the goal of developing a safe, healthy, and sustainable food system.
The participation of the Faculty of Food Technology and Nutrition in this international conference highlights the commitment of this faculty and of the University of Tetova as a whole to advancing scientific research, internationalizing studies, and strengthening inter-university cooperation in the fields of food and nutrition.
