Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, held an official meeting today with Peace Ambassador Mr. Tahir Shabani, who is also the President of the Institute for Cooperation and Development (based in France and Geneva), as well as Mr. Zaim Jashari, Honorary Consul of the Republic of North Macedonia in Geneva.
At the beginning of the meeting, Rector Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli informed the guests about the activities of the University of Tetova, its academic development over the years, as well as the main challenges and achievements in the fields of education and scientific research.
The main purpose of this meeting was to coordinate efforts to strengthen the Institute for Cooperation and Development, which aims to provide concrete support for students, academic staff, and the University of Tetova itself. Mr. Shabani and Mr. Jashari expressed their full readiness to serve educational institutions, and informed the Rector about the initiative to establish a new foundation in Geneva, which will focus on assisting and supporting students in their academic journey. In addition, they invited the Rector to participate in an important international event to be organized by the World Trade Organization (WTO). The event is expected to bring together distinguished professors and renowned experts from relevant fields from around the world, and it represents an excellent opportunity for the exchange of experiences and the expansion of the cooperation network.
Rector Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli thanked the guests for their visit, the support provided, and the invitation, and he appreciated their engagement in support of higher education and our students. At the same time, he emphasized that the guests will always be welcome at the University of Tetova, with open doors for the implementation of any joint activity or project that serves education and science.
