The Ambassador of Italy to North Macedonia, His Excellency Paolo Palminteri, paid an official visit to the University of Tetova, where he was received by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli; the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Salajdin Salihi; and the Head of the Office for International Relations, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hatibe Deari–Zeqiri.
During the meeting, the Rector informed the Ambassador of Italy about the academic structure of the University, its faculties, and the study programs it offers, with special emphasis on the Italian language study program. He highlighted the importance of expanding academic and cultural cooperation between the two institutions.
The Ambassador expressed his satisfaction with the existing cooperation between the Embassy of Italy and the University of Tetova, emphasizing that this partnership represents a solid foundation for new initiatives. He also expressed his readiness to further strengthen and expand this cooperation in the future.
Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Salajdin Salihi, emphasized that the Embassy of Italy and the University of Tetova should develop a joint strategic plan aimed at attracting students to study the Italian language, as well as at developing new academic and cultural projects.
With this visit by Ambassador Paolo Palminteri, the University of Tetova once again demonstrates the continuity and preservation of its long-standing partnership with the Embassy of Italy in our country.
