A delegation of the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia, headed by President Nebi Hoxha, today visited the University of Tetova. On this occasion, they had a friendly meeting with the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti, Vice-Rector for International Relations, Asst. Prof. Dr. Shefik Shehu, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Prof. Dr. Raman Ismaili and the Chief of Cabinet of the Rector of UT, Asst. Prof. Dr. Faton Shabani.
Rector of the UT, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti, representatives of the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia, initially announced the agenda of activities that our University has implemented during 2019, with particular emphasis on the activities that were carried out during December in honor of the 25th anniversary of the foundation of the University of Tetova, starting with the visit and the lecture held at our University by the US Ambassador to our country, Kate Marie Byrnes, marking some important events, such as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities and Human Rights, exhibitions, concerts and theatrical performances of the students of the Faculty of Arts, the traditional small football tournament of the students of the Faculty of Physical Education, the inauguration of the Institute of Albanian Language, Culture and Civilization and the promotion of the postage stamp by the North Macedonia Post with the logo of the University of Tetova.
Rector, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti said that the central activities started with homage to the bust of the Albanian education martyr Abdylselam Emini and the tomb of the Founder, First Historical Rector of the UT, Prof. Dr. Fadil Sulejmani, while concluding with the organization of the solemn academy dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the foundation, the unveiling of the lapidary “The Beacon of remembrance” and the inauguration of the statue of the Founder and First Historical Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Fadil Sulejmani.

He said that this jubilee year will remain in the memory of all Albanians for the hard work you have done with the unveiling of the statue of the Founder, First Historical Rector of the UT, Prof. Dr. Fadil Sulejmani and the lapidary “The Beacon of remembrance” honoring the sacrifice through the years of all those generations who sacrificed for our national cause. At the meeting, they also discussed the joint activities carried out so far by the University of Tetova and the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia, at the same time emphasizing the need to deepen cooperation in the future, creating new strategies and opportunities for action.
