Faculty of Economics of the University of Tetova was represented at an international conference and workshop held in Thessaloniki, Greece, from May 25–28, 2026. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Brikend Aziri, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Maksuti.

The event was organized by the University of Macedonia (Thessaloniki) and the University of Illinois, bringing together experts, professors, and researchers from various countries to discuss current topics in economics, data analysis, and contemporary economic transformations.

During the scientific sessions of the conference, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Maksuti presented a study entitled “Strategic Investment Management and Business Environment: Evidence from West Balkan Countries”, which analyzed the factors influencing strategic investments and the development of the business climate in the countries of the Western Balkans.

In addition to participating in the conference proceedings, representatives of the Faculty of Economics held meetings with academics and university leaders with the aim of identifying new opportunities for collaboration on scientific research projects, organizing joint academic activities, and promoting the mobility of students and academic staff.

Participation in such international forums represents an important opportunity to promote the scientific activities of the Faculty of Economics and to expand cooperation with prestigious higher education institutions.
