Augusta Philibin, the Cultural Attaché of the United States Embassy in our country, together with Gazmend Ilazi, representative for international educational programs at this embassy, today visited the Faculty of Arts of the University of Tetova.

In this academic unit, the representatives of the U.S. Embassy were received by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Professor, Senad Abduli, Vice-Dean for Science of this faculty, Professor, Nora Halimi and the Head of the Office for International Relations, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hatibe Deari-Zeqiri.

The purpose of their visit was to become familiar with the progress of the lectures that the renowned artist Nicole Stager conducted from November 6-17, 2023 within the Fulbright Specialist mobility program, funded by the Department of the United States of America.

Nicole Stager expressed her great satisfaction for the successful conduction of the cycle of lectures in front of the students and professors of the Study Program of Figurative Art.

She singled out the commitment of the professors and the dedication of the students who regularly attended the lectures and workshops that were held in the auditoriums of this faculty and the support provided by the University of Tetova during her stay at this institution.

The representatives of the US Embassy and the leaders of the Faculty of Arts emphasized that such successful collaborations serve to strengthen the relations between the respective institutions and are an incentive to engage in other educational-scientific programs and projects in the future.
