Fourth-year students of the Architecture department, within the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the University of Tetova, carried out a four-day study visit to the capital of Italy, Rome.The visit was organized under the guidance of Asst. Prof. Dr. Nuran Saliu and the President of the Student Parliament of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Albin Haliti. Its main objective was to enhance students’ practical knowledge through direct exposure to the architectural, urban, and cultural heritage of one of the most significant centers in the history of world architecture.
During their stay in Rome, the students had the opportunity to explore renowned landmarks of Roman antiquity such as the Colosseum, the Pantheon, and the Roman Forum, as well as iconic monuments from the Baroque and modern periods, including St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, and MAXXI – the National Museum of 21st Century Arts, designed by the renowned architect Zaha Hadid.
