A delegation from the University of Tetova, consisting of Prof. Dr. Florim Idrizi – Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Prof. Dr. Alit Ibraimi, Prof. Dr. Florinda Imeri, Prof. Dr. Agon Memeti, and Asst. Dr. Shkurte Luma-Osmani, on December 24, 2025, paid an official visit to the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Prishtina.
The delegation was received by the Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Prof. Dr. Isak Shabani, with whom last year was signed the inter-university cooperation agreement. During the meeting, discussions were held on further advancement between the two universities, with a particular focus on the concrete implementation of this agreement.
It was emphasized that the agreement has started to be institutionalized, moving from a formal framework to a structured and sustainable cooperation. In this context, the respective faculties are preparing joint research projects under the Erasmus+ KA2 programs, while the academic staff of the University of Tetova is already involved in doctoral (PhD) study evaluation committees at the University of Prishtina.
The meeting also served to identify new areas of cooperation of mutual interest, including the expansion of academic mobility, co-authorship of scientific papers, and the organization of joint research and educational activities.
