This year as well, the communication through the language of art and its power, brought together students and professors of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Prishtina, University of Tirana, and University of Tetova, in the eleventh edition of the annual artistic activity. This year’s meeting point was Tirana, where the opening of the traditional cultural activity “The three-arched bridge” took place on 10 and 11 of June, 2019, at the premises of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Tirana.
Through the name the “Three-Arched Bridge”, the initiators of the project found the symbolism carried by the activity itself, such as: affirmation, cooperation and mutual connection of the national culture through the achievements of the young artists of the three largest Albanian centers.
On the occasion of this event, the wide audience was honored with the presence of the Rector of the University of Arts – Tirana, Prof. Kastriot Çaushi, Vice-Rector, Prof. Arian Paço, Deans and Professors, who welcomed this very significant cultural event.
The Rector, Prof. Kastriot Çaushi, among other things, stressed that this event enables a painter from Tetovo to watch a film shot in Pristina, an actor from Pristina to hear the violin music from Tirana, and musicians from Tirana to enjoy the paints of Tetovo.
So, given the importance of the “Three-Arched Bridge” project, we are not just a spectator within this process, but the author of this miracle called art. Therefore, the students of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Tetova, along with the dean, Prof. Mr. Nafi Jashari, the Coordinator, Doc. Dr. Jëlldëz Asani, and a number of professors, offered a space of cooperation and promotion of young talents before the Albanian art lovers. Students are aware that for a four-year time span of studies, not only are they encouraged, and share relevant experience of art knowledge and expertise, but also create communication bridges and convey their message to the public.
The calendar of activities included various artistic fields, where initially the students from the University of Tetova presented a rich exhibition in various figurative fields, to continue with stage performances and short films led by Prof. Mr. Senad Abduli, and concluding the activity with an excellent interpretation of the quartet led by Prof. Mr. Blerim Grubi.
All the participants are hopeful that cooperation will continue and will be even more fruitful in the future, because today’s bridges testify for the future spaces.
