The study program in Macedonian Language and Literature at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Tetova organized a one-day workshop aimed at helping high school graduates more easily pass the mandatory exam in Macedonian Language and Literature.
The strong interest shown by high school graduates from all secondary schools in Tetovo was remarkable. They had the opportunity to get acquainted with the facilities of the University of Tetova and learn more about the activities of the academic staff from the Macedonian Language and Literature study program.
The workshop for the subject Macedonian Language and Literature was organized by the professors of this study program. Prof. Dr. Veselinka Labroska, Prof. Dr. Maja Jakimovska-Toshik, Prof. Dr. Marina Spasovska, Prof. Dr. Liljana Gushevska, Prof. Dr. Marina Danillovska, as well as Ms. Aneta Acoska, a teacher of Macedonian Language and Literature at the “Kiril Pejčinoviq” Gymnasium, had prepared interactive exercises in the field of language. They emphasized the areas that require special attention during testing and provided guidance and advice on essay writing. Key aspects necessary for students to successfully overcome the challenges of the state graduation exams were addressed.
The organization of this workshop has already become a tradition, and this year it was also included as part of the annual program marking the 80th anniversary of the codification of the standard Macedonian language.
