At the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Tetova, the “Special Study Week 2025” began its activities, which will take place until October 31, 2025. This event is organized in collaboration with the Macedonian Civic Education Center. The central topic for this year is: “From idea to success: Effective Project Management”. The event provides an opportunity for students and faculty to explore best practices in the development and implementation of academic and professional projects.

At the official opening, which was attended by the President of the Senate of UT, Prof. Dr. Qenan Ferati, the Vice-Rector for Science, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti, the Vice-Rector for Finance, Prof. Dr. Aida Baftjari – Yzeiri, the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, Prof. Dr. Kushtrim Ahmeti, professors, and students, the Dean of the Pedagogical Faculty, Prof. Dr. Lulzim Mehmedi, stated that we live in a period where professional, academic, and institutional development cannot be imagined without the ability to conceive, plan, manage, and evaluate projects. “In an increasingly interconnected world, where social, educational, and technological challenges demand creative solutions, mastering the knowledge and skills in project management is the key to success, both for the individual and the institution”, – said at the beginning of his speech the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Prof. Dr. Lulzim Mehmedi.

This week will last for five days, from Monday to Friday, and will include dynamic, practical, and interactive activities. Today and tomorrow, our partner has engaged Mr. Metin Muaremi to conduct a two-day training for third- and fourth-year students from all academic programs of the Faculty of Pedagogy. This training will provide concrete knowledge on how to design, manage, and evaluate projects. On Wednesday and Thursday, the staff of the Faculty of Pedagogy will conduct workshops with students, divided into 10 working groups, where they will develop real projects in various fields of education. On Friday, in the courtyard of the University of Tetova, we will have the pleasure of promoting the results of your work, showcasing all completed projects, and announcing the top three projects of the Special Study Week 2025, thus concluding this important academic week. These five days are a golden opportunity for students to develop practical skills, test their ideas, build collaborations, and increase confidence in their abilities. I hope you will make the most of this week for your professional and personal development, to strengthen your capacities in project preparation, management, and evaluation, and to see yourselves as creators of positive changes in education and society”, – said the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Prof. Dr. Lulzim Mehmedi.

The Director of the Macedonian Civic Education Center, Mr. Besnik Ramadani, expressed his satisfaction that their center is partnering with the Special Study Week this year. He encouraged the students to make the most of this opportunity to work practically, understanding how a project progresses from idea to planning, implementation, budgeting, and, ultimately, evaluation of results. He explained that for this reason, Mr. Metin Muaremi, a trainer with more than 20 years of experience in project management, is present. He suggested that students take full advantage of this opportunity by asking questions, as there is much they can learn from him.

“Special Study Week 2025” is proof that the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Tetova is moving toward its vision of becoming a model in the implementation of local and international projects, always in the best interest of the students and academic staff of the University of Tetova.
