The leaders of the University of Tetova, headed by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, the Vice-Rector for Science, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti, the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Prof. Dr. Lulzim Mehmedi, and the Vice-Dean for Pedagogy of this faculty, Asst. Prof. Dr. Teuta Ramadani-Rasimi, along with the delegation from Northern Illinois University in the U.S., consisting of Dr. Mary Earick, Dr. Yenitza Guzman, Dr. Dana Isawi, Dr. Eric Junco, Kristin Lee, and Makbule Irem Pilgir, today visited the U.S. Embassy in the Republic of North Macedonia.

The aforementioned delegations were welcomed at the U.S. Embassy in Skopje by representatives of the Public Diplomacy Section: Charles M. Santiago Morales, Vanessa Flannes Bordo, and Gazmend Ilazi.

During this important meeting, the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the help provided by the United States in the process of the University of Tetova’s development, for the valuable donation for the foundation and operation of the Legal Clinic, for the successful partnership and cooperation with American universities and our institution in joint educational and scientific activities, especially highlighting the numerous international projects developed at the Center for Peace and Intercultural Communication.

Today’s visit of the UT leadership and the professors from Northern Illinois University to the U.S. Embassy in our country further strengthens institutional relations and opens up new opportunities for collaboration in various fields, contributing to the advancement of North Macedonia’s Euro-Atlantic processes.
