The Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, together with the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Prof. Dr. Brikend Haziri, and the Vice-Dean for Education of this faculty, Doc. Dr. Vjollca Hasani-Limani, hosted the students who won the first prizes in the competitions organized by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

In the competition for the annual award of the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Republic of North Macedonia, for the best work by young researchers in the field of the capital market, students from all universities of North Macedonia competed with research-scientific works. In this competition, students from the Faculty of Economics of our university excelled, winning the first and third prizes.

The paper entitled “The role and influence of the capital market in the economic development in the Western Balkan countries” authored by the student of Finance and accounting Rudina Etemi, won the first prize and was awarded with an amount of 50,000 denars by the Commission.

The work titled “The Role of the Capital Market in Green Financing – Issuance of Green Bonds,” authored by two students majoring in Accounting and Auditing, Samie Neziri and Parajsa Kokale, won the third prize and was awarded with 20,000 denars by the Commission.

For these achievements of the students, the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, and the Dean, Prof. Dr. Brikend Haziri, congratulated the students for their success and the Faculty of Economics, emphasizing that the University’s support for them and all other students will not be lacking, as their work and successes achieved in various competitions honor and elevate the name of the University of Tetova.

On this occasion, the students thanked Doc. Dr. Vjollca Hasani-Limani, who has encouraged and guided them throughout the process of preparing their papers.
