On May 5, some of the students and teaching staff from the Macedonian Language and Literature Study Program of the Faculty of Philology of the University of Tetova, together with the Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Prof. Dr. Berton Sulejmani, participated in the solemn event at the Macedonian Language Institute “Krste Misirkov” in Skopje, organized on the occasion of the Macedonian Language Day.
On May 5, 1945 by the decision of the Popular Government of the Federal Republic of Macedonia, the Macedonian alphabet was approved. The students also visited the memorial room of the Institute’s patron, Krste Misirkov.
It was also organized a visit to the Book Fair, where students had the opportunity to see the rich offer of publishing houses from Macedonia and enjoy the world of books, written by local and foreign authors.
