On April 21, 2026, the University of Tetova, through the Faculty of Economics, organized the workshop “Economists of the Future”, an activity dedicated to high school graduates, who had the opportunity to learn more closely about studying economics and the perspectives this field offers.

The workshop was held in an interactive and collaborative atmosphere, where participants engaged in practical activities and open discussions on current economic issues. At the opening of the event, the Vice-Dean for Education, Professor Dr. Elsana Aqifi, presented the modern teaching approach of the Faculty of Economics, emphasizing the importance of linking theory with practice and the active involvement of students in real processes.

Following this, representatives of the study programs presented the opportunities offered by each field, accompanying them with concrete examples. Through these sessions, the high school seniors were directly engaged in analysis and problem-solving, developing practical skills and critical thinking.

The concluding part of the workshop was characterized by presentations from the students themselves, who addressed current topics such as rising prices, personal budget management, the development of business ideas, and marketing strategies. They also introduced creative ideas for promoting tourism, demonstrating a high level of creativity and commitment.

As a sign of appreciation for their engagement, all participants were awarded certificates, making this experience an important step in their academic and professional orientation.
