As part of expanding scientific and cultural cooperation between higher education institutions, the University of Tetova and the Kırklareli University of Turkey signed a memorandum of cooperation on July 17, 2025, which aims to create conditions for the development of international, scientific, and cultural relations between the two universities.
The memorandum was signed by the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, and the Rector of the Kırklareli University, Prof. Dr. Rengin Ak.
This memorandum includes: student and academic staff exchanges; joint development of scientific activities; participation in international conferences and symposia; exchange of technical and scientific information; as well as the establishment of joint research teams.
The parties agreed that each activity will be regulated by separate agreements, respecting the principle of mutual cooperation without imposing financial obligations on the host institution during exchanges. Each university will appoint a coordinator to oversee joint activities within one month after the signing of the agreement.
This cooperation represents an important step toward the internationalization of higher education and the promotion of academic and cultural exchanges in the region and beyond.
