Vice-Rector for International Relations of the University of Salento from Italy, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gennaro Scarselli, accompanied by Dr. Francesco Mariano, visited the University of Tetova. On this occasion, they were received in a meeting by the Rector of the University of Tetova, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kushtrim Ahmeti and the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shefik Shehu.
In this meeting, the parties first exchanged general information about the educational and scientific activity of the two institutions, the way of organization of studies, the total number of students, memberships in various international organizations and projects, as well as other information related to the general progress of the educational-scientific process.
They also said that, for both universities, in addition to the aspect of teaching, the primary priority remains investment in the field of scientific research. Based on this, the parties also discussed the possibilities of creating a partnership.
According to them, all these topics related to the activity of the two universities can be conducted in the future by finalizing a cooperation agreement between the University of Tetova and the University of Salento, an agreement which would enable the organization of scientific conferences. seminars, symposiums, mobility of academic staff and students, participation in various professional trainings and other activities.
