The Albanian Social Psychology Association, on April 17, 2026, held a working meeting at the premises of the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Tetova, bringing together a considerable number of researchers in the field of social psychology from across the Albanian-speaking region.

At this meeting, professors of social psychology participated from the University of Tetova, the University of Tirana, the University of Pristina, “Luigj Gurakuqi” University in Shkodër, “Aleksandër Moisiu” University in Durrës, and AAB University from the Republic of Kosovo, which turned this meeting into an important forum for the exchange of experiences and scientific ideas.

The participants were welcomed by the Vice-Rector for Education, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Neziri, the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, Prof. Dr. Kushtrim Ahmeti, as well as the Head of the Psychology study program, Prof. Dr. Lulzim Murtezani, who emphasized the importance of academic cooperation and inter-university networking for the further development of science and higher education.

During the meeting, with a focus on strengthening academic and scientific cooperation, discussions were held on research priorities in the field of social psychology, contemporary challenges, and opportunities for joint projects. Special attention was given to harmonizing scientific activities and building a shared research agenda.

At the conclusion of the meeting, a concrete action plan was drafted for the implementation of joint activities within the framework of the Albanian Social Psychology Association, including scientific conferences, research projects, and initiatives for involving students in these processes.

This meeting represents an important step toward consolidating interinstitutional cooperation and establishing a sustainable academic network in the Albanian-speaking region, contributing to the advancement of social psychology as a discipline and to improving the quality of higher education and scientific research.
