With the invitation of the European Parliament, the Vice-Rector for International Relations of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Shefik Shehu, at the same time professor of political science at the Faculty of Law, stayed a working visit to Brussels and Paris, within the European Union Visitors Program (EUVP).

Vice-Rector Shehu held a series of meetings with senior officials of the European Parliament, the European Commission, as well as in the institution responsible for the European Union’s foreign policy, the European External Action Service. During his visit in Paris, the Vice-Rector of UT, Prof. Dr. Shefik Shehu met with representatives of the European Parliament Liaison Office, as well as visited the house-museum of the inventor of the European Union, Jean Monnet.

Prof. Shehu also stayed at NATO headquarters, in a protocol meeting with the Office of Public Diplomacy, the head of the energy security sector, Michael Ruhle, and met the Ambassador of the RNM at NATO Headquarters, Dane Taleski.
