Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Tetova continues the successful cooperation with the of Swiss Association Education– (Bildung). In the framework of this fruitful cooperation, on September 19, 2019, , members of this association stayed for a working visit in the Rectorate of the University of Tetova, led by its president, Dr. Christian Zindel. On this occasion, they held a friendly meeting with the Vice-Rector for Education of the UT, Prof. Dr. Reshat Qahili, with the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Prof. Dr. Fatbi Osmani, the Vice- Deans and leading staff of this faculty.
The parties initially discussed the two-year cooperation between the Association – Bildung and the Faculty of Pedagogy, in particular the study program of Special Education and Rehabilitation, about the courses and activities carried out by the support of the association, as it was the study week, the didactic tools needed for the practical part of the students in the study program of Special Education and Rehabilitation, as well as the literature needed for a new program such as Special Education and Rehabilitation, all these provided by the association.
At this point, the president of the association, Dr. Christian Zindel emphasized that their mission started earlier and the University of Tetova was one of the first institutions that decided to support it, especially with the help of one of the members of the association, who is originally from Tetovo, Prof. Dr. Mahir Mustafa, and that their aim is to continue this cooperation with the University institutions of the state of Switzerland, that our students to have the opportunity to get practical experience from different institutions.
Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Prof. Dr. Fatbi Osmani emphasized the importance of moral and intellectual support by Professor Mahir Mustafa in the special week, where he highlighted the benefits of this cooperation and expressed the readiness of the Pedagogical Faculty staff for an interstate cooperation with Swiss institutions that would have enabled practical participation to our students.
Whereas, the Vice- Dean for Education, Prof. Dr. Buniamin Memedi thanked them for the financial support, for didactic tools, such as Braille equipment, audiometers, sensory devices and professional literature, provided for the students of the study program of Special Education and Rehabilitation.
Members of the association visited the premises where are held the lectures of the students of the Faculty of Pedagogy, as well as cabinets where didactic materials were placed for the practical part of the lessons of the study program of Special Education and Rehabilitation.
