Well-known boxer from Tetovo, Lulzim Ismaili, student of the Faculty of Physical Education at the University of Tetova has been declared European champion in professional boxing in the WBF category, at the weekend (on April 17,2021) in the spectacle organized in Tetovo defeated the opponent Jasmin Dananoviç from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ismaili was persistent from the beginning of the duel, by not leaving a chance for the opponent to react, who was forced to surrender after the fourth round. For the 23-year-old guy from Tetovo, this was the 6th victory in as many matches held in professional boxing.
The protagonist of the duel, the boxer Lulzim Ismaili, emphasized that he will always give his best for the future titles to remain in Tetovo. His plan is to defend the title and win over other generations and to be ranked as high as possible in the list of the best boxers in the world.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this year’s edition took place without the presence of the public, while the organizers of this event claim to continue the tradition in the coming years.
Such successes of our students are motivation for future generations and confirm the thesis that with work and sacrifice can be achieved every goal.
