Professor of the Faculty of Law of the University of Tetova, Assistant Prof. Faton Shabani, from October 22 until October 26, held lectures in the Faculty of Law of the University of Maribor. His visit to this University was conducted within the Erasmus + program, while in front of the first and second cycle students, he presented some lectures in the field of Business Law. During the presentation of lectures, Assistant Prof. Faton Shabani, special attention paid to Business Law in the Republic of Macedonia, the challenges it faces with and its future. He also lectured on trading companies’ law and legal regulations in the Republic of Macedonia.
Students of the Faculty of Law of the University of Maribor, during the presentation of these topics, have expressed great interest in these legal issues in the Republic of Macedonia, including the reform of the justice system.
In addition of the lectures in the field of law, Assistant Prof. Faton Shabani, in front of the academic staff and the students of the Faculty of Law of the University of Maribor presented the University of Tetova, the history of the University, the academic units of our University, as well as all the educational and scientific activities that are conducted in our University.
During his stay in the University of Maribor, Assistant Prof. Faton Shabani, has conducted several meetings with the leaders of this University. He was received in a friendly meeting by the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Vesna Rijavec.
At this meeting they talked about the possibilities of future cooperation between the Faculty of Law of UT and the Faculty of Law of the University of Maribor, by conducting joint activities, which would be in the interest of both faculties. On this occasion, he urged the university leaders, academic staff and students to come to visit the University of Tetova so that in the future the two universities cooperate in various forms, such as exchange of students and academic staff, organization of symposia, seminars and joint scientific conferences, etc.
