Today, the University of Tetova began the first enrollment period for new students for the academic year 2026/2027. The application process will remain open until the end of this week, while high school graduates will have the opportunity to choose from the study programs offered by the University’s 13 faculties.
On this occasion, the Rector of the University of Tetova emphasized that this year’s enrollment begins following the successful completion of an important process for the institution—the reaccreditation of its study programs and academic units. “The new feature of this academic year is that enrollment is beginning after the successful completion of the reaccreditation process for all study programs and all academic units. As part of this process, we have made significant changes to most of the study programs, and we also have several new programs”, said Rector Prof. Dr. Kushtrim Ahmeti.
As part of the new academic offering, the Faculty of Economics will offer the programs Financial Control and Customs and Freight Forwarding, while the Faculty of Applied Sciences will be enriched with the programs Road Infrastructure and Interior Design. For the academic year 2026/2027, the University of Tetova has a total of 3,164 places available across the study programs offered by its 13 faculties. “We expect high school graduates to respond positively to the call for applications and, in particular, to choose the University of Tetova, given that our university has a well-established tradition in higher education and is one of the universities continuously striving to improve the quality of education”, emphasized Rector Prof. Dr. Kushtrim Ahmeti.
He emphasized that one of the University’s main goals remains adapting its study programs to contemporary needs and creating opportunities for graduates to be as competitive as possible in the labor market. “The University continuously strives to improve the quality of education and seeks to ensure that our students are absorbed by the labor market. I believe there are several important indicators that demonstrate to high school graduates that the University of Tetova is the right choice for them” said Prof. Dr. Kushtrim Ahmeti.
University of Tetova calls on high school graduates to apply, within the official application period (August 24–28, 2026), to the study programs that best match their interests and professional goals, thereby becoming part of the new generation of students at the University of Tetova.
