At the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Tetova, was promoted. the book “Pedagogical Studies II” by Prof. Dr. Tahir Zajazi. This event brought together university professors, educators, students, and book enthusiasts. In his opening speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Prof. Dr. Lulzim Mehmedi, stated that this publication marks a significant contribution to the field of pedagogy, offering a two-dimensional analysis that includes historical studies and modern pedagogical reflections, which challenge and expand our horizons on contemporary education. “The work of Prof. Dr. Tahir Zajazi stands out not only for its in-depth analyses, but also for its ability to connect historical perspectives with contemporary ones, building bridges between tradition and innovation. Thus, he shows that in order to overcome the challenges of our time, it is essential to combine the lessons of the past with innovation to create a modern and inclusive educational model. Referring to international analyses and the thoughts of renowned authors such as Dewey, Vygotsky, and Freire, this book provides us with a tool to deeply understand the transformative role of education. It reminds us that education is a dynamic process, requiring constant updating, inclusion, and above all, a true passion for knowledge. In this context, I would like to express my warmest congratulations to Prof. Dr. Tahir Zajazi – as an outstanding academic, a devoted critic, and a true mentor in the field of education. I hope that this work opens new doors for discussions, research, and collaborations that will strengthen our efforts toward a more efficient and inclusive education”, – said, among other things, the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Prof. Dr. Lulzim Mehmedi.
The reviewer of the work, Professor Xhelal Zejneli, emphasizes that the book “Pedagogical Studies II” by Prof. Dr. Tahir Zajazi is a deep mine, rich with a large number of data about education in Macedonia, with a particular focus on the developments of Albanian-language education from 1945 to the present day. The author of this book has dedicated his entire life to education. “Based on his theoretical and practical knowledge, the author reveals issues related to education in general and Albanian-language education, in particular. He emphasizes the need for measures to ensure the uninterrupted development of Albanian-language education and education in general, and provides assistance concerning issues related to the permanent development of existing processes in the education system. The author supports trends for the modernization of schools, while viewing the function of schools as a system of work. He talks about the overload of students in lessons, school textbooks, the spirit of the social system, and the reinstatement of pedagogical nomenclature concepts. To overcome the situation in which education in the country finds itself, it provides alternative solutions, asserts that reform in education is imposed by the change of regime, reflects the profile of the teacher in the global world of knowledge, speaks about the psychological image of the teacher, about the evolution and valorization of student development, about learning and acquisition as a process, about the audio-visual practice of learning, as well as about perception from a cybernetic perspective”,-emphasizes, among other things, Professor Xhelal Zejneli.
The other reviewer, Prof. Dr. Avzi Mustafa, emphasized that this book comes as a delight for the school and education, as well as for the scholars and scientists at the right moment, when technology and technical advancements have surrounded us from all sides. “Prof. Tahir Zajazi, in this study, also expresses his concerns regarding education, employment, and engagement, but also includes various personalities who have contributed to the field of education. In this study, we also find the professor’s concerns about issues related to education and the improvement of the educational conditions of Albanian students in Macedonia, which he addresses to various personalities through memorandums”, – said, among other things, the book reviewer, Prof. Dr. Avzi Mustafa.
Professor Reshat Qaili, in his welcoming speech during the promotion, shared his personal memories with Professor Tahir Zajazi. He recounted that their collaboration began during high school, where he had the privilege of being his student, and later continued with a close partnership at the University of Tetova. He emphasized that over the years, they have shared not only academic experiences but also important scientific projects and joint participation in various conferences, where he has always appreciated the dedication, professionalism, and educational vision of Professor Tahir Zajazi.
In the conclusion of this event, the author Prof. Dr. Tahir Zajazi said that this book contains a transitive link between the traditional and the modern. “In a way, I have made an effort to ease the path for future generations, the current teaching staff, and especially for those who will be educated, in transitioning from one period to another. From the traditional system to the modern one, the change in the methodology of working with students. The literature contains 3,600 pages, with the last 600 pages representing the connection between these two spheres. In a way, I try to continuously introduce elements of cybernetics into the teaching process, practically incorporating elements of the civilized world, with a clear goal: to overcome the mystical syndrome that hinders our school from becoming part of international standards.” – said, among other things, the author Prof. Dr. Tahir Zajazi.
The book “Pedagogical Studies II” is further evidence of this commitment and a valuable resource for all those involved in education, scientific research, and the development of educational policies.
