At the University of Tetova on November13-14 was held the International Congress on Human, Social Sciences and Arts. As a part of this congress were conducted proceedings: 7th Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Business Administration, in cooperation with the Faculty of Economics of the University of Malta. In addition, for the 6th time, were organized the scientific conferences of the Faculty of Philology, Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Philosophy, also for the 2nd time was organized the conference of the Faculty of Pedagogy of our University, in cooperation with the Faculty of Education of the University “Alexander Moisiu” from Durres, Republic of Albania.
Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti, referring to the organization of this congress, emphasized that activities of this nature aim at scientific advancement, new developments and overcoming problems that present a challenge for certain sciences. According to him, over the years and especially in the last decade, the University of Tetova has proven to be the main institution of scientific organization, perhaps the only institution in the country to carry out numerous activities in various fields. “This congress, the 2nd in a row, comes in a full format, organized with a large participation of scientific authorities, so we appreciate that this influential event for the general public represents the most important scientific event for 2019. Professional, correct and intensive cooperation with state institutions, with other universities, the academic community and other interest groups has transformed the University of Tetova into a center of intellectual and scientific attendance in the country and abroad. We are convinced that this fruitful cooperation will continue to develop, not only with the aim of raising the level of scientific research in different fields, but also in the practical implementation of the results achieved by the research work”- said the Rector of the UT, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti.
Dean of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Malta, Prof. Dr. Frank Bezzina considered the organization of this congress to be of a great importance to scientific researches and, according to him, the essence of success is the scientific relations between states. “It is an honor and a pleasure to be among you and look forward to new collaborations between our institutions, not only through conferences, but also through the exchange of teachers and students, traveling from one institution to another, various academic research and everything you consider reasonable”- said Prof. Dr. Frank Bezzina.
At the solemn opening of this congress, on November 13, 2019, was held a professional lecture lectured by the Prof. Dr. Theodhori Karaj, on topic: “Problems of the methodology of scientific research in the social sciences”. In this congress were inaugurated the five new issues of the scientific journals of some faculties, such as: the fifth volume, issue 9-10 of the journal of “Economic Vision”; the seventh volume, issue 11-12 of the journal “Justicia”; the first volume, issue 1 – 2 of the journal “Education”; the six volume, issue 11-12 of the journal of “Philosophica”; the seventh volume, issue 11-12 of the journal of “Philologjia”. Majority of scientific journals that are published by the University of Tetova are of international character and are published in accordance with the Law on Higher Education in the Republic of North Macedonia, and it’s worth pointing out that their indexing is on EBSCO, INDEX COPERNICUS and GOOGLE SCHOLAR.
At the International Congress on Human, Social Sciences and Arts, were presented 210 scientific papers by 300 co- authors, renowned scholars, scientific researchers from the country and the region, who over the years have contributed to scientific advancement, new developments and overcoming problems that pose a challenge for the aforementioned sciences, while on November 15-16, will be organized a workshop on topic: “Application of statistical methods in scientific research”.
