On October 11, 2018, in Prishtina, the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Kosovo and the Academy of Sciences of Albania organized a scientific conference titled “Albanian novel, the beginning of the 21st century”, attended by distinguished scholars from Republic of Albania and Republic of Kosovo.
In this conference participated the Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Prof. Dr. Fatmir Sulejmani from the University of Tetova, who introduced the study: “Albanian spirit in disguise”, which is related to the novel “Polyphonists”, one of the last works of the master of narrative prose, Luan Starova. This book deals with the mythological theme of ethno-genesis and Albanian ethnopsychology and in its hero is the polyphony – this inner code of immortal national memory.
The study was well received by other scholars and by the selected audience who followed the works of this important scientific event.
Otherwise, this was the eleventh conference of two Albanian academies of science in which Prof. Dr. Fatmir Sulejmani actively participated.
