Professor, Nora Halimi, Full Professor at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Tetova, participated in the Second International Conference on Arts and Education – ICAE 2026, themed “Creativity, Heritage and Arts Education in the Age of Technology”, which was held on June 11–12, 2026, at the University of Arts in Tirana.

This international scientific event brought together researchers, lecturers, artists, and doctoral candidates from various countries in the region and across Europe, including Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Italy, and Greece. The conference served as an important academic forum for discussing contemporary challenges and developments in the fields of the arts, cultural heritage, and arts education, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and interinstitutional cooperation.

As part of the conference’s scientific program, Professor, Nora Halimi presented her paper entitled “The role of storytelling in graphic design education: The power of narrative”, which examines narrative as an essential component in the teaching process of graphic design. The paper highlights the impact of storytelling on the development of critical and creative thinking, the construction of visual identity, and the strengthening of students’ communication skills through the language of design.

In addition to presenting her paper, Professor, Nora Halimi also served as moderator of the first session in the field of visual arts, where she led the scientific discussions and coordinated the exchange of ideas among participants from various artistic institutions. Her role contributed to fostering a constructive dialogue on contemporary approaches to research and artistic practice.

Her participation in ICAE 2026 represents a significant contribution to the promotion of scientific and artistic research, as well as to the strengthening of academic cooperation at both regional and international levels.
