University of Tetova, today, on May 13, 2020 began with the organization of “Open Days” for the academic year 2020/21. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, this year for the first time this event is organized in a completely different format – online. All interested parties from the country, region and beyond, have the opportunity to remotely be informed and communicate directly with the university staff, about the educational-scientific offer, study conditions, programs and study directions, for the academic year 2020/2021, through the website https://ut-openday.com/index.html.

Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Prof. Dr. Fadbi Osmani emphasized that the pandemic has not stopped the activity of the University of Tetova, because during these days the lectures have been held online, and the students have been very active. “The Faculty of Pedagogy enrolls students in three cycles, and in the first cycle enrolls students in four study programs: Teacher Education, Preschool Education, Professional Pedagogy and Special Education and Rehabilitation. Meanwhile, within the second cycle enrolls students in three study programs: Pedagogy – Didactic innovations, Pedagogy – elementary education, Pedagogy – management in education. In the third cycle, the Faculty of Pedagogy has started to enroll, for two years in a row, students in two study programs: Education Development Strategy and Learning Development Strategy. I want to emphasize that we are ready within these three days to offer to our students, graduates from all lands, that they have it easier in their determination. We as a faculty and university offer maximum and solid conditions for studies. “Our university is a leader in the region, as it offers quality, professional competencies, study programs designed and accredited internationally, and thus offers students a wide range of values, with students who will be competitive in the European market”, said the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Prof. Dr. Fadbi Osmani.

Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Qebir Avziu addressed the high schools students, who have completed the fourth year, who want to work in their lives as judges, prosecutors, lawyers, notaries, bailiffs or journalists, to enroll in the Faculty of Law. “In this faculty, we offer four different study programs: Law Studies, Criminology, Political Sciences and Journalism. Unlike other years, this year the Faculty of Law offers in the Law Studies Program: studies with 180 credits and studies with 220 credits, which is a great benefit for future students. I also want to inform those who have graduated from the faculty and have 180 credits, that this year they can come to enroll in our Faculty and get 240 credits, or enroll only in the fourth year. We have a large cadre of professors, and we have different interns. Now we have accredited the law clinic, which will be for students. We are also setting up a university radio, which will be able to inform students every day about the activities of the University of Tetova and especially the Faculty of Law. Our academic offer is very favorable for students, so I invite everyone to enroll in the Faculty of Law”, said among others the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Qebir Avziu.

Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Prof. Dr. Kastriot Haxhirexha said that this year with its difficulties, with the pandemic that has gripped the whole world, all of us has put in front of various challenges. “You as graduates in front of the challenge to finish this academic year, irregular way, while we as a university that this event “Open Days”, this year we are forced to realize in online form, but I am convinced and I believe that together we will face these challenges and again we will be close to each other, as the previous academic years. In the capacity of the Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, I would like to present to you the academic offer of this faculty for this year. Faculty of Medical Sciences has six study programs: General Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, as well as three year studies: General Nursing, Obstetrics, and Physiotherapy. All graduates have their doors open, and have our support to join us and be part of these study programs. The universities where you can invest are like banks and you can be sure that the University of Tetova is the bank that offers you the greatest security, better conditions, but also offers you quality for a better future for you.
