In addition to young people from the country, dozens of candidates from the Republic of Kosovo, the Republic of Albania, the Preševo Valley, and the diaspora are applying for admission to the study programs at the University of Tetova.
The Education Office of the University of Tetova reports that, with the start of the first enrollment period for the academic year 2026/2027, a high level of interest among young people has been recorded across the University’s academic units. Students are applying and submitting the necessary documentation to enroll in their preferred programs.
As the first Albanian-language university in the Republic of North Macedonia, the University of Tetova has expanded its educational offerings over the years and consolidated its digital system, making the application and enrollment process easier, more accessible, and more efficient for candidates from both within the country and abroad.
Today, the geographical reach of candidates showing interest in studying at the University of Tetova has expanded significantly. Alongside young people from the country, a considerable proportion of potential candidates come from the Republic of Kosovo, the Republic of Albania, the Preševo Valley, and the diaspora. According to data from the Education Office, approximately 10 percent of prospective students come from these areas.
According to the Education Office, this growing interest is a result of the trust that the University of Tetova has built throughout the region, its continuous reforms, diverse range of study programs, and modern infrastructure, which now characterize the institution of higher education.
