The ceremony dedicated to the laureates was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Enis Jakupi, as well as Vice-Deans Prof. Dr. Shinasi Zejneli and Prof. Mr. Burim Ukiçi, demonstrating the institutional support provided to outstanding students and the faculty’s commitment to promoting them within professional circles.
The event was held in the presence of the President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Prof. Dr. Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, the Minister of Digital Transformation, Mr. Stefan Andonovski, the President of the Engineering Institution of Macedonia, Dr. Andrej Lepavcov, and the President of the Chamber of Architects and Authorized Engineers, Mr. Dejan Metikosh.
During the meeting with the laureates, discussions focused on the role that the new generation of professionals will play in the country’s future development, as well as on the importance of knowledge, professionalism, and innovation in addressing contemporary challenges. The laureates presented their plans for their professional futures and shared their views on the challenges facing young people after completing their studies, particularly in terms of employment, professional development, and creating conditions that enable young professionals to build their future in the country.
The discussions also addressed issues of importance for the country’s sustainable development and modernization, including public architecture and quality spatial planning, the development of data centers, the implementation of planned projects, the expansion of photovoltaic capacity, as well as the challenge of emigration among engineers and young professionals.
